Ways to Engage

We value our donors and corporate sponsors. At AGS, we are empowering girls with the potential to make a lasting impact on the US economy.

Studies show that graduates of girls’ schools are six times more likely to choose math, science, and tech majors than their co-ed counterparts. They are three times more likely to choose engineering, and twelve percent more likely to participate in political discourse.

The confidence and leadership skills that AGS students gain over the course of their career allow them to reach past the broken rung on the corporate pipeline toward C-suite positions which remain overwhelmingly male.

Your support has a direct impact on the work we do at AGS, but also on the future of women in business, and on the economy.

Ways to Participate

There are many ways to engage in AGS’s mission.

Email Tatum Branaman at tbranaman@atlantagirlsschool.org for more information.

Internships

Organizations can provide an internship opportunity for an Atlanta Girls' School student.

All AGS students are required to complete two customized internships with local, national, or global organizations. In addition to gaining valuable professional and life skills, internships allow students to better understand the needs of specific communities.

Leadership Labs

Individuals and organizations can partner with AGS to design a Leadership Lab for a quarter, semester, or the academic year.

AGS students complete four Leadership Labs every school year. Each leadership lab provides a unique learning experience that relates leadership skills to various student interests. Individuals and organizations can choose to participate on a one-time or ongoing basis.

Winterim

Organizations can work with AGS during Winterim, a two-week mini-semester that allows our faculty and students to try something new, explore a topic in depth, or approach a familiar subject from a new angle.
